A Change

So, I have decided it is time for a change, time to work on finding the Artist in me this year.  2009 was a rough year for Barry and I with him being unemployed most of the year but as I look back I would not trade the friendships I made for the burdens of 2009.  God blessed me with not one just one forever friend but many!  

This is one step in the right direction, writing down my thoughts, loves, worries, new ideas and things that just make me happy.  I'm creative by nature but sometimes surppress that side of my self, not letting my self think or live out side the box. So look out here I come!

First stop on the creative tour is making Cinnamon Rolls from scratch last night!  I just love these cinnamon rolls that you can buy back home in Amish country.  I look forward to having them when we visit.  I was telling Barry about them and he said "my great grandmother use to make them and you might have the recipe from my mom?"  And thanks to my mother-in-law Kathy giving me a new recipe book with all her recipes and family recipes in it I do have it.  So I thought what the heck I will give it a try.  They turned out great, melt in your mouth good!  Ok, they ROCK!!  I have to admit I have had two today, so that means off to work out now and then give the rest away so I don't eat them.  I have posted a picture above.
