That's my girl!

I love her!
I have to share this one!  So last Sunday we took Payton's best friend Matthew with us to church.  They had a great time, being water day and all.  On the way home Matthew asked Payton if he could call her and they could play Mario Cart.  She said yea!  I said we only have one remote right now, we need to pick up some more batteries.  Then Matthew says I might have some you can have.  I said that's ok, we will try to pick some up at the store soon.  To this my daughter turns to Matthew and says

" My mom only buys batteries when they are on sale and she has a coupon, so she can get them for like a dollar, because we are on a budget!"  

I was so impressed with her!  First knowing that the best time to buy is when it is on sale and has a coupon!  Yea that rocks and best of all she gets that we are on a budget.  Not that we can't afford to buy the batteries but that we are saving and only spending what we plan to spend and no more.  She is 7 years old and it warms my heart to know that she is getting it.  I think this is one I will always remember!
