Drum Roll Please!

........My savings for the year 2010 was $7,672.19

We spent $3,115.85 for our groceries and toiletries for the year.  That is a savings of 71.11 %!
My value cards saving was 4,610.29 total
My cut coupon savings was 3,044.90, that is just crazy.  That means I cut 3,044.90 worth of coupons in the last year.  So if you think those $1 coupons or even .30 cent coupons don't make a difference your wrong.  Add them up and you could give your self a really nice tax free raise.  I always have to give a big thanks to my friend Wendy Wright who changed our lives in many ways one being teaching us how to coupon.  Thanks Wendy!  Now as I look ahead to the new year I wonder can I do better this year?  Can I save more?  I sure hope so!  These numbers were just our groceries and toiletries, not the other great deals I have done through the year on free stuff or super cheap items.
I think keeping track of them would be worth doing.

On another note it is time to craw back to the wagon and hope on.  As some of you might or might not know I lost 50 pounds in the year 2009.  I'm proud to say I have kept it off!  I have put just a few pounds back on and would like to get back to working out and eating right not only for the weight loss but for the health benefits of feeling so much better.  I like to use the Lean for Life plan.  This has worked great for me and why change what already works right?  Now to e-mail my friends and family and ask for sign ups for walking and working out.

So bring it on 2011, I'm ready to do this!
